Guiseppe’s Pizza: Savor Irresistible Pizza, Wings, and More in Akron, OH

Their pizza is 5 star really. I grew up on this pizza. Though, I do agree with other posts about getting crispy tops rather than bottoms. Dechecos and Guiseppes are my 2 favorite Akron pizza places. I bounce back and forth. It is hard to beat Dechecos specialty pizzas. Guiseppes had a good Cuban pizza but let it go. My review comes from my most recent order, it is in regard to the pick up process at Guiseppes. When you order Dechecos, you get a text when it is done. You go to the window, and your pizza is in your hand in under a minute. There is never a crowd waiting to pick up. My last order with Guissepes, I walked in at the proposed time, walked to the bathroom through about 12 people standing in the waiting area. On my way through I could see my order ready on the back racks. I return from the bathroom and wasn't even acknowledged. A few minutes later I am asked for my name which I gave. The young lady goes to the back and brings out like 8 pizzas, mine shoved to the side... I have already prepaid... so I sit and wait 12 minutes as people come up, get salads, pay, tip etc. I feel like I should be able to walk in and walk right out when prepaying and knowing the order is ready. Please call Dechecos and copy their order and pickup model. Just a friendly suggestion! Also, bring back the Cuban pizza!!

Pretty decent pizza. Tastes very similar to Gioninios Pizza in my opinion if you are familiar with them. Friendly service. Ordered a 14" jumbo pepperoni pizza, which did not measure 14", but rather 13". Not a deal breaker but I am dropping a star for that.

It started horribly when my door dash order showed 1 hr and 45 min later and my pizza was just barely warm. BUT, when I bit into that pizza OMG, so delicious, best I have ever had. New to the area, so it was my first time trying them. I will be back for sure, will pick up and understand why this place is so busy!!!

Pretty good. Eating in is a hassle. And the ordering process for eating in is a mess. Pizza is good. There really is no service since you walk up and get your food if they decide to call your name

We've been huge fans of Guiseppe's Pizza for years now and honestly, I can't believe I've never left a review. Our favorite is the Extra Spicy Darlene pizza!! The flavors are just crazy good together and there's no other pizza joint in the area with anything that comes close. We also got to try their BBQ Hatch Mac pizza today at an event and WOW!!! Soooo good!!! It's probably a good thing we don't live closer because I could see this becoming an unhealthy addiction LOL.

Best GLUTEN FREE pizza around, they are small but so good. You wouldn't even know its gluten free. They are normally pretty busy and packed but that shows you how good their food is. Their salads are fantastic, Jo Jo's are great... Just beware, they do not have delivery drivers, they are contracted out. I had a huge issue once. The driver showed up an hour late, the driver got my pizza off the passanger side floor where his passengers feet were, by time it got here it was ice cold. I immediately called. Guiseppes couldn't believe it just got to me seeing it said delivered a 1/2 hour prior on their end. They gave me a full refund. I "pick up" only now.

I recently discovered this Gem. I’ve been coming here 4-5 times in past two weeks. It’s located in Green near by my nail salon. I’ve tried to many pizza shops. The staff is very nice and they have a of people working together to get the orders out on time and tasting fresh. The crust is perfect the texture is firm and crunchy it’s authentic Italian pizza style like when I use to live in New York. All the ingredients are fresh. They put the toppings underneath the cheese so whether you eat it right away or warm up left overs the crust is still crunchy not soggy. It’s perfect. There was a no pizza shop around that taste better then Giuseppe. Sometimes I drive 35 minutes from my home to come out here on the days my salon isn’t open to get some of this pizza. I like to thank the staff for always be so attentive and kind. I appreciate their business and service. I look for to every visit. Sincerely Eng Tran

My FAVORITE pizza place! The only place I actually crave!! This is what I call REAL pizza! Lol Everything about them is good, from the crust, sauces, toppings. & All of the staff has been great every single time, which is rare these days! I would recommend this place to anyone! My personal favorite is the Darlene
